Middle School Student’s

This Ministry is designed to partner with parents to help 6^th-8^th graders become disciples who make disciples. We pray for every Middle Schooler to have their own faith in Jesus and become a resilient & active disciple of Jesus. We pray and challenge Middle Schoolers will be active in their faith by sharing Jesus with their peers and being on God’s mission wherever they go.

What will my Middle Schooler experience weekly?

Life Groups - Sunday Morning
Life Groups are designed for Middle Schoolers to connect & care for one another in groups designated by grade & gender. Middle Schoolers can enter ‘The Rock’ and will be checked in by a Life Group leader.

Summit – Sunday Night
This is a worship and groups experience designed for Middle Schoolers. We begin in a large group setting with a game, then worship together with a student-led band, and then they are challenged with a message. We then change to small groups to discuss the message and apply it to our lives. With the remaining time, Middle Schoolers have access to a gym and game room to connect and have fun! (Meets seasonally; visit the WEEKLY ACTIVITIES to see if Sunday Night Activities are currently meeting.)

What events does the Middle School Ministry do?
Middle Schoolers have various local events throughout the year designed to help them invite and bring their friends to church. Please check the Middle School Ministry events page throughout the year.

What trips does the Middle School Ministry take?
The Middle School Ministry page currently has an in-town conference in November called THE WKND. We take a trip to Pigeon Forge in January for the Strength to Stand Conference. During Spring Break, we alternate years between an in-state mission trip and local opportunities. In June, the Middle School Ministry takes 5 days for summer camp in Charleston.
