Yesterday we saw God move in a powerful way among His people as we worshiped Him and prayed for one another. The altar was full in both worship services with people kneeling in prayer. The deacons anointed with oil and prayed for the physical ailments of many more. One deacon emailed the following:
“I had the opportunity to pray with (2) cancer patients, (1) Alzheimer’s patient and his daughter, (1) with Osteoporosis, (1) with a heart condition, (1) with a recent surgery, (1) experiencing depression, and (1) who wanted to pray for the spiritual health of our Family of Faith! The Holy Spirit was surely moving among our folks and it was a great day in the Lord.”
The emails, text messages, comments, and other feedback have been overwhelming. It really was a great day and God touched many lives. Feel free to share with us below your experience yesterday. What did it mean to you? How did God touch your life?
I also praise God for the two who were baptized yesterday, as well as the six others who joined our church family – two of those on profession of faith.
Keep praying for one another and for our church. Let others know when you need them to pray for you. Regularly attend Sunday School so you can develop close relationships with fellow believers that make it possible for us to support one another in our journey with Christ.

Tough times will come! Don’t isolate yourself! Stay connected to church family. This is why Sunday School is so important. Keep loving Jesus. Serve others well.

Church family is very important to someone that don’t have much family left. He loves us through it all.

The Holy Spirit’s presence was very strong at FBC Rock Hill yesterday. So blessed to be a part of this growing Family of Faith. I can hardly wait to see what 2016-17 holds in store for God’s people at FBC and others that come to visit.
