Today’s Easter Egg Hunt was a success and the kids had a blast. I enjoyed watching them run with around with big smiles collecting eggs while parents took a lot of photographs. About 900 people registered, with 75% of those being guests. I was able to speak with several new people, some of whom said they would be at one of our Easter services tomorrow.

I want to send a big “thank you” to our children’s ministry leadership team and all the volunteers who worked so hard to make today go smoothly. Another “thank you” goes to everyone who donated candy-filled plastic eggs. We had more than 13,000 eggs.

I also want to “thank” the Lord the beautiful weather. After last year’s egg hunt was forced inside by the rain, a lot of people were praying for good weather.

Also pray for tomorrow’s Easter services. Give your guests a call later today to let them know you’re looking forward to seeing them at church tomorrow. Finally get up early and arrive early for worship.
