January 30, 2012 By Steve Hogg Leave a Comment

I never know what the highlight of my Sunday is going to be until it happens. Yesterday it was when we knelt before God at the altar to pray for our church, asking God to guide us as we discover His strategies for overcoming the challenges we face as a family of faith.

There was a great response in both services, but the scene in our 10:30 worship service blew me away. So many people came to the altar that the aisles were clogged with people kneeling in prayer. It was a moving moment for me.

There is a growing hunger among us for God to do something great. We are not satisfied with the status quo. Not every Pastor can honestly say that about the church he serves, but I can. I am so encouraged and I join with you in anticipation of what God is going to do.

Keep praying! That’s the key. Use the UNHINDERED DEVOTIONALS on our web site. Remember to fast in some way several times during these weeks when we’re seeking God. If we seek Him with all our heart He will answer our prayers and meet our needs.

Here is a photograph of the prayer time in our 10:30 service.
