April 1, 2015 By Steve Hogg Leave a Comment

This week’s update is that there is no real update – because I haven’t lost any more weight. I’ve hit a frustrating plateau. I’ve been stuck on the same weight for three weeks. I guess it’s good news that I’ve not gained any weight, but that isn’t the goal right now.

The lesson I’ve learned from similar times in the past when I lost weight is to not give up. Just keep doing the right things. Maybe make a minor adjustment to kick start things again. The worst thing I can do is allow frustration to cause me to make “bad” decisions. So I’m going to keep going and eventually win this battle.

I’ve also learned the same lesson about life in general. Success is not always immediate and there will periods when we don’t see results as quickly as we would like. The key is to keep doing the right things, perhaps making small positive changes. Frustration and over reacting usually lead to failure.

Many of you made commitments for 2015 because you believed God wanted to do something in your life this year. We are now three months into this New Year and I imagine of few of you have hit a frustrating wall. Don’t quit. Keep doing the right things. Results will come – eventually.
