Steel City Church Informational Meeting & Supper - Monday, November 8 at 6:30pm

Learn more about what is happening at Steel City Church in Pittsburgh from church planters Chris Richards and Zakk Roberts. They will share how the church is doing, what you can do to support them, and what their plans are for the future.  There is no charge for the meal or the meeting. Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes – DUE BY NOVEMBER 14

Pack a shoebox for a child and return it to the church by November 14. The mission of OCC is to show God's love in a tangible way to children in need around the world & to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. To learn more about packing a box, visit the Samaritan’s Purse website.

Operation Christmas Child National Collection Week – November 15-22

First Baptist serves as a regional collection site for Operation Christmas Child. Volunteers are needed to collect shoe boxes, pack them in cartons and load cartons on trailers. To see the schedule and to sign up, visit our sign up page.

Salvation Army Bell Ringers – November 27, December 4, 11, & 18

To support the ministry of the Salvation Army, we are ringing the bell at Sam’s Club on Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas. You can sign up for a two-hour shift on our sign up page.

2022 Mission Trips

In 2022, FBC will offer opportunities to serve in Puerto Rico; share the gospel in Birmingham, England; work with Alaska Missions in Kenai, AK; serve alongside Steel City Church and SEND Relief in Pittsburgh, PA; and work at Give Kids the World in Kissimmee, FL. Plans are still being finalized. There will be informational meetings on Sunday, December 5. You can sign up to get more information on our website.

2022 World Missions Offering

Each year, First Baptist collects a World Missions Offering that goes directly to support national and international missions through the Southern Baptist Convention as well as our partnerships. The offering is another way that we join with Southern Baptists across the nation to carry the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Our 2022 World Missions Offering goal is $130,000. So far, $67,000 has been given. You can find out ways to give to our World Missions Offering on our website.
