I was raised in church with my family being very active in the church. I knew the things that you were not supposed to do. When I was nine years old I had a strong desire to make God personal to me. At that time I knew I wanted God to be Lord of my life.

As I continued on through school and college this commitment protected me from a lot of negative choices. God provided me positive friendships that influenced my life. In my mid-twenties I knew a lot about God but realized that I needed to allow God to have control of how I lived my life.. As I have trusted God with my life situations, my relationship with him has grown and I trust him more and more.

I have experienced some difficult times in my life and God has provided strength and support through his word, the Bible, and through Christian friends. His grace has allowed me to put mistakes behind me and move forward. I do not always understand or like everything that happens in life and I do not know what the future will be like but I do know that God did not bring me this far to leave me now.
