Gary Morris

As a teenager in high school, I felt the tug of God on my heart. I had met a cute, little girl at high school and begin to attend a Baptist Church with her. I must admit...I went to church to be with her, but there, I met Jesus. I was raised in another denomination, and had never made a personal decision to follow Christ.

However, I felt that something was missing in my life. After talking with a close friend, I asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins, and turned my life over to him. I joined the church and followed Christ in believer’s baptism. Since making my commitment, I have been allowed to serve as a deacon and member of several committees. Due to work demands, I am unable to attend every service, but I enjoy my SS class as we fellowship and worship with other believers.

Since accepting Christ as my Savior, He has blessed me beyond belief. He has always been by my side and given wonderful Christian friends who support me and encourage me daily.

After I married my high school sweetheart, we claimed, "In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths." Prov. 3:6, as our life verse. We have always consulted Him and sought His guidance concerning our life decisions. He has never let us down!
