December 8, 2017 By Steve Hogg 1 Comment

Thursday night was one of the best Christmas worship experiences I’ve ever had.  I’ve attended better concerts and shows, but never a better time of worship to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior.

Travis Cottrell and his team, along with our worship choir and orchestra, led us praising Jesus.  The evening alternated between moments of joy, reflection, smiles, and tears.  Travis did exactly what we had hoped he would do – lead us in worship.

Jesus was honored.

Merry Christmas everyone,

Pastor Steve Hogg

By far, this was the most enjoyable Christmas program ever for me as a musician. Kerri McGuire on violin and me on cello had such fun, beautiful parts to play. It was quite evident that Travis Cottrell understood how to write music for strings players, and he knew exactly how to add in woodwinds and brass to build on the music. Steve White always does a terrific job picking out our Christmas music with each Christmas program being very different from the next. The choir was amazing…,incredible how beautiful that many voices sound together. Merry Christmas.
