Read the following Bible verse several times:

Ephesians 4:32
Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

Having read this verse several times, what is God saying to you?

Answer these questions:

  • What are the benefits of being kind to others?
  • How does being tenderhearted help us forgive others?
  • Who do you need to forgive? Whose forgiveness do you need to seek?
  • How does the fact that Christ forgave us help us in our relationships with others? How does this fact help us be kind to others?

After answering these questions, write or verbalize a personal prayer to God.

Praying for our church:
We are seeking God’s wisdom for dealing with five specific challenges our church is facing.
Today please pray for God’s wisdom in dealing with the following challenge:

  • How can we direct more of our resources to evangelistic efforts that target those in our community who are unchurched and could be assimilated into our family of faith?
  • Also pray for our “UNHINDERED TASK FORCE” to have God’s wisdom in finding solutions to our challenges.
