Read the following Bible verse several times:

Galatians 2:20
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Having read this verse several times, what is God saying to you?

Answer these questions:

  • In your own words, describe what it means to be crucified with Christ. Are you living a crucified life?
  • What do you think Paul means when he describes his daily life as one in which he personally no longer lives?
  • If the life of a crucified believer is one in which Christ actually lives through him, what implications does that have for daily living?
  • For whom or what are you living?
  • When people look at your daily life, do they see Jesus?

After answering these questions, write or verbalize a personal prayer to God.

Praying for our church:
We are seeking God’s wisdom for dealing with five specific challenges our church is facing.
Today please pray for God’s wisdom in dealing with the following challenge:

  • How do we better balance the attendance between our 9:15 am and 10:30 am Sunday School hours and worship services?

Ask God to reveal to you parts of your life you have not crucified and surrendered to Jesus.
