What a day! Praise the Lord!
Yesterday was full of blessings and here are a few that stood out to me:
- God moved among us and hearts were touched.
- The music was outstanding.
- Jan Dernier’s testimony was a powerful witness to the life-changing grace of Jesus Christ.
- Attendance was strong – between 1,900 and 2,000 people of all ages.
- A lot of guests attended. I spoke with several who plan to come back.
- Plenty of volunteers helped with preschool child-care.
- It was moving to see believers on their knees at the altar praying for lost friends and loved ones.
- The applause at 10:45 when people walked across the bridge.
- The Holy Spirit touching my heart when Shelley Jennings and the choir sang “This Blood.” I’m so thankful for what Jesus did for me.
- On a personal level – getting to spend the day with our son Steven and his wife Sara, as well as Sara’s brother and sister-in-law.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday the day it was. Those who built and decorated the bridge – your behind the scenes service made a difference. The choir, musicians, singers – the music was powerful. The tech guys in sound, lighting, projection, TV – we couldn’t do it without you. Our facility staff – the grounds looked great. Our staff who helped with all the planning and preparations – you’re the best.
What did you enjoy about yesterday? How did God bless you? Tell me about it below.
Thanks for the joy of being your Pastor.
