Today’s Community Easter Egg Hunt was a great success. Because of the rain, it was moved indoors: games in the gym and egg hunt in the Apex. About 200 families registered and the kids had a blast. The staff and volunteers were flexible and made the event run as smoothly as possible. See the photographs below.
I was able to talk to a lot of people. When I asked our guests how they heard about the egg hunt, all of them said someone told them about it and invited them to attend. That was a good reminder that word of mouth is still the best advertising.
A personal invitation is also the best way to invite someone to attend tomorrow’s Easter services. You still have time to invite people, so give them a call. Remember that services begin at 9:00 and 10:45 am. Also remember that tomorrow you find out what the Elephant in the Room is.
It’s going to be a great day! Jesus will be honored and the gospel will be clearly presented.
