What have you prayed about today?  This week?

  • A New Cycle of EU Wednesday Night Classes Starts August 23
  • Next Steps, opportunities for new people to get plugged into FBC

Those are the two items from last Sunday’s bulletin I prayed for today.  Each day this week I’ve been praying for different items in the bulletin as part of our Five Week Challenge.

As you know the Challenge involves fasting and prayer.

  • FAST one day each week during the challenge. You choose the day and type of fast.  Last week’s purpose was submitting to Jesus’ Lordship.  This week each of us chooses our on purpose for the fast.
  • PRAY for two different FBC members each day during the challenge. That’s 70 people in five weeks.  Pray for members you don’t normally mention in your prayers.

Last Sunday the additional step of praying for two different items listed in the bulletin was added to the prayer challenge.  This helps us learn to pray kingdom type prayers.  It helps us learn to pray for our church in a way we may not normally pray.

This coming Sunday I’ll give additional direction for praying, but for now pray for two different members and two different items in the bulletin each day.

What items have you prayed for this week?  Tell us about in the comments below.

Pastor Steve Hogg

PS Make sure you copy of the bulletin tomorrow so you can pray for our church ministries next week
