One of our members was excited when I spoke with him on the phone earlier today because one of his friends had gotten saved Sunday at a local Baptist church. He had been witnessing to this man and was burdened for him. In fact he came to the altar this past Sunday @ FBC and asked me to pray with him for his friend. We prayed and he thanked me.

When I spoke with him today he was blown away that we had prayed for his friend at about 10:10 am Sunday morning and then just over an hour later his friend accepted Jesus.

Of course God has been working in this friend’s life long before Sunday, but this story is a great reminder that God does honor our prayers – if we pray. So keep praying and don’t ever give up.
