Early this morning Monieca left Rock Hill and drove to KY to check on her parents.  Using the “Find iPhone” app I was able to track her the whole way and know where she was at any moment.  I even snapped a photo of the GPS showing her having just crossed the NC/VA state lines on I-77 just before 8:00 am this morning.

It really is amazing that we can do this kind of stuff.  When I was young no one knew where I was when I was traveling unless I stopped at a pay phone and called them.  How things have changed!

This has made me more aware that God really is able to know where we are at every moment in our lives.  He can track us – see us – each and every second of our existence.  Even better, He is always with us.  He doesn’t just look down on us from heaven – so to speak.  He is right there with us.  We are never out of His sight.

If we humans can now use technology to keep up with each other – like I did with Monieca this morning – there is no reason for us to ever doubt our Creator’s ability to keep up with us even more closely.  He truly is a great God!  He can be trusted!
