Answer these questions:

• Yesterday we meditated on the “wages of sin.” Today we will think about “the gift of eternal life.” What does it mean when the Bible calls eternal life a “gift”?
• How does someone receive a gift?
• Who gives the gift of eternal life to lost people? Do we as believers play a role in God giving that gift?
• How is eternal life different than the death which sin gives?
• Name someone you know who is still living in their sin and does not have the gift of eternal life. How does it make you feel to realize they would not go to heaven if they died today?
• We usually wrap gifts in wrapping paper. What or who does this verse say the gift of eternal life is in?
• Does that mean a lost person needs to hear about Jesus in order to accept the gift of eternal life?
• Have you ever spoken to the person you named above about Jesus Christ?

After answering these questions write or verbalize a personal prayer to God.
