“We made a commitment to visit every home in our neighborhood.”

That was two years ago and to date this elderly couple in our church have visited over half of the fifty plus homes in their neighborhood. They talk with their neighbors, invite them to church, serve them and regularly pray for them.

I was blessed and encouraged as I listened to this sister in Christ share with me the stories of her neighbors and the burden she and her husband have for some of them. It was exciting to know that God has people who take seriously His command to “go” not only around the world, but also in our own “Jerusalem.”

I pray that each of us will do all we can this week to invite people to attend our evangelistic worship services this coming Easter Sunday at First Baptist.
