Read the following verses about wisdom several times:

Luke 2:20

The Child continued to grow and become strong, increasing in wisdom; and the grace of God
was upon Him.

Luke 2:52

And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

Having read this verse several times, what is God saying to you?

Questions to answer:

  • If a young Jesus grew in wisdom, what does that say about our need to grow in wisdom?
  • How can growing in wisdom help our relationships with other people?
  • What are you doing to grow in wisdom?

After answering these questions, write or verbalize a prayer to God.

Praying for our church:
Our church family is facing challenges and we need God’s wisdom to know how to overcome them. Each day this week you are asked to pray that we receive God’s wisdom for dealing with one of the five challenges we’ve identified. Today pray we have wisdom to deal with this
specific challenge:

  • How do we better balance the attendance between our 9:15 am and 10:30 am Sunday School hours and worship services?
