July 21, 2017 By Steve Hogg 2 Comments

Birthdays are a big deal to my wife.  Not in a bad way – it’s just that she really enjoys celebrating them.  Special days, like birthdays, are really special to her and today is her special day.  Today is her birthday.

It was a warm summer morning when she was born at the local hospital in the mountains of eastern Kentucky.  She arrived a few weeks early and the labor was quick.  To this day she likes arriving early.

We spent our childhoods separated by 12 miles of country roads, but didn’t meet until high school.  It would be her last year of college before we dated.  Just over a year later we were married.

I was 18 months old when she was born.  Little did know then that on that day God was preparing the greatest earthly blessing of my life.

July 21 is her special day.  However, no gift I ever give her could equal the gift she is to me.

Happy Birthday Monieca.  I love you!

Your very happy husband.

Our family of faith is so blessed to have you seeing alongside Steve. But more than than I am very blessed to call you friend. Enjoy your day

      Oops too early in morning.
      Serving instead of seeing
And than that instead of than than!😀
