I had a breakfast meeting at Panera Bread this morning with some local pastors and I was smiling as I walked toward the front door because of what I had seen when I parked. On the back of the car in the parking space in front of me was one of our First Baptist decals. You’ll remember we distributed several hundred of those a few months ago and asked everyone to put them on their cars as a simple way to get the word out about our church.

I’ve seen those decals around town but for some reason it made me feel good and smile when I saw that decal this morning. If you have one on your car, thank you for not being ashamed to broadcast to the community where you go to church. If you don’t have one, they are available in the lobby on Sundays and I encourage you to get one this Sunday and put it on your car.

To whoever was driving that car – thanks for putting a smile on your Pastor’s face.
