Psalm 127:4 says, “Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.”

Each of us was shaped and influenced by our parents and others who helped raise us.  Yes….I know – we are not carbon copies of our parents, but we do resemble them in many ways.  Guess what?  Our kids will be / are being influenced by us.

That is why the Bible teaches us to be intentional.  We aim our kids into the future like an archer aims his arrows at a target.  One who aims well is intentional chooses the right target.

That is why I encourage you to buy your tickets today for the new movie that will be shown in select theaters next week.  It is being premiered on May 1 and May 3 at Rock Hill’s Regal Manchester Stadium 14 at 7:00 pm each night.  You can find more information at www.likearrowsmovie.com.

I will be out of town next week, but I’ve already purchased my ticket to see the movie at a theater near where I’ll be next week.  They’ve already sold out in Charlotte, so I suggest you purchase your tickets soon.

Part of the movie was filmed on our FBC campus.  See if you can identify those scenes.

With all the challenges in our nation, let’s support good Christian entertainment.  With all the challenges facing our families, let’s encourage young parents to see this movie.

Blessings,

Pastor Steve Hogg
