Read the following Bible verse several times:

1 John 4:7
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

Having read this verse several times, what is God saying to you?

Answer these questions:

  • What are we commanded to do in this verse?
  • What are some ways that we can ‘love one another’?
  • Why is it important to realize that love comes from God?
  • Does the fact that love comes from God make it easier to love one another? Why or why not?

After answering these questions, write or verbalize a personal prayer to God.

Praying for our church:

  • Pray for our “UNHINDERED TASK FORCE” to have God’s wisdom in finding solutions to our challenges.
