Read the following Bible verses from the book of Psalms several times:
Psalm 8:3-4
“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained; What is man that You take thought of him, and the son of man that You care for him?”
Having read these two verse several times, what is God saying to you?

Answer these questions:
- When you reflect on the vastness and complexity of God’s creation, how does it make you feel?
- How did it make the author of these verses feel?
- How does it make you feel to know that the God who created this vast and complex universe cares about you?
- That He thinks about you?
- Does God think about you and care about you more than He does other people? Does that include backslidden Christians? Does it include lost people?
- Do you think about backslidden Christians and lost people? How much?
After answering these questions write or verbalize a personal prayer to God.
