• What is a king? What does it mean to say that God is king?
• How long does this verse say God will be king?
• This verse talks about nations that once existed but then perished. Name some nations or empires of the past that no longer exist. What about God’s kingdom…how long will it last?
• Do you put more confidence in God’s eternal kingdom or earthly powers that will eventually end?

After answering these questions, write or verbalize a personal prayer to God.

• How do we direct more of our resources (people, time, money, events, ministries) to evangelistic efforts that target those in our community who are unchurched and could be assimilated into our family of faith?
