Read the following verse about wisdom several times:

Colossians 4:5
Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity.

Having read this verse several times, what is God saying to you?

Questions to answer:

  • What does it mean to conduct ourselves with wisdom toward “outsiders”?
  • Since “outsiders” are persons who are not saved, how many “outsiders” do you have the opportunity to influence for Christ? How does that make you feel?

After answering these questions, write or verbalize a prayer to God.

Praying for our church:
Our church family is facing challenges and we need God’s wisdom to know how to overcome them. Each day this week you are asked to pray that we receive God’s wisdom for dealing with one of the five challenges we’ve identified. Today pray we have wisdom to deal with this specific challenge:

How do we facilitate the service of our members in a way that is efficient and focused on the priorities that will have the most impact for the cause of Christ?
