A preschool class room, a custodial supply closet, the elevator, the preschool covered drop off, the baptistry, and the choir loft were the locations at First Baptist where the group I was with prayed during Sunday evening’s Prayer Covering.

Safety for our kids and custodians, the continued long-term operation of our equipment, more servant volunteers, more people being saved and baptized, broken marriages to be healed and healthy marriages to remain healthy, more musicians, and for angels to surround every area where kids gather at FBC were just a few of the many things we prayed for in our group during Sunday evening’s prayer covering.

About 200 people gathered in groups led by deacons and staff to pray for God to cover us with His protection, power, blessing, anointing and miracles. Groups prayed in every room on our campus, in the parking lot, the playground, restrooms…

It was a beautiful evening and a wonderful experience. I want to say “thank you” to each person who participated and encourage everyone else to participate when we have our next prayer event at FBC. Remember…prayer is the key that unlocks the door to heaven’s blessings.
