Arriving in Haiti involves a lot of different feelings. A feeling of elation is prevalent as we are all excited to see what is in store for us this week. Next, feelings of skepticism and hesitation emerge as we adjust to the Haitian culture and become more familiar with our new surroundings. Finally, at the compound, a feeling of expectancy as we begin to get involved with SMI and the Haitians they minister to. I say expectancy because as we love on the Haitians we are expecting God to move in a big way – using us as his hands and feet.
Thank you all for your prayers and please continue to pray for safety, patience, and for God to do mighty things in Haiti.
