June 12, 2014 By David Mitchell Leave a Comment

We’re starting to get a little tired. And by we, I mean me, David, certainly not the energy filled youth.

It has been great to see the students get into the flow of spending all day talking and learning about Jesus. The main lesson today was about the 10 lepers and how after Jesus healed them only one returned to thank him.

Why didn’t the others return? What distracted them from returning and saying thank you?

Our youth are faced with many distractions and resemble the nine leppers that never came back and praised Jesus for what he had done. Why didn’t the others come back to give God the praise and glory that he is due?

The students are getting to struggle with the things that distract them and keep them from giving God the praise and credit He is due. The students were faced with many distractions during their small group discussions today to make them realize how easy it is put Jesus out of their mind until they have an emergency in their life. It is encouraging to see how God is working in these students lives and becoming number ONE to them.

Thank you so much for your faithful and continued giving that allows us to take our Youth to a great event like this and give them an experience with God that they could not get any other way. Thank you for you faithfulness.
