This morning we worshiped with fellow believers in Guitton. The service was also a funeral for a sister in Christ. That was a new experience for all of us. This afternoon we delivered gifts of rice and beans and stopped for fellowship and prayer with those we met. We also spent some time playing soccer with the children in the village of Cipress. Today the Father showed us that in spite of our differences we are so much alike. Families mourn the passing of a loved one. Mothers worry about their sick children. And children love to play and have endless energy. For those of us who trust Jesus, we all share the promise that He will come to us and bring us to our eternal home. That is true no matter what color we are or what language we speak.
