When do you feel most loved?
On Monday night the children talked about the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37) We were blessed to share this story with 360 children and adults. The elementary children were able to talk in their small groups about what it means to help others in need and to look for those opportunities.
Our bottom line for the night was “Love others the way you want to be loved.” Over time, love is what matters most. It is so important for children to know and feel that they are valued and loved. One way we can do that is to direct them to the One who Is love, God. When we know God and how much He loves us, we can then begin to love others the way we want to be loved.
Through music, crafts, snack and recreation we learned about love. Thank you to our volunteers for loving the children and helping to show God’s love this week!
