Today our teams shared the story of Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection in several villages / homes and the Holy Spirit was definitely speaking to hearts. While no one committed their life to Christ today, they all invited us to return tomorrow and tell another story. Some said they would be at church this Sunday. Tomorrow is the time we have scheduled for extending an invitation at each village / home. So please pray fervently for us.
We’ve been returning to the same villages / homes each day, but today Sara Hogg and Kathy Troutman had one of those moments that God ordains and we simply have the privilege of being present. On their way to one of their villages, three young men called them over and said they “wanted teaching.” As they talked other young men who were nearby noticed and joined them. They ended up unexpectedly sharing the gospel with eleven young men they had not seen all week.
All of us are glad to be here and see God at work in Zambia. But we also want you to know that this same kind of thing can happen in Rock Hill. If we are intentionally witnessing for Jesus, we will notice opportunities as we go about our normal routines. People are all around us who need to hear about Jesus. We just have to see them and be willing to talk with them.
