Today’s post is going to be short because it’s been a long day and we’re all ready for bed. The team genuinely appreciates your prayers for us and those with whom we are sharing the Bible stories. God is working and the crowds are getting larger at village / home.

Today’s story was about Jesus casting the multitude of demons out of the man who stayed in a graveyard. You can read it in Matthew 8, Luke 8, and Mark 5. The story is important because evil spirits and witch doctors are part of the culture here. We wanted them to know that Jesus is more powerful than devil and they don’t have to live in fear. Knowing this is critical to their choosing to follow Christ. A witch doctor was in one of my groups today, so the need for your prayers is very real.

Please be praying for tomorrow and Saturday. Tomorrow we tell the story of Jesus’ crucifixion and Saturday is when we extend an invitation for them to become followers of Jesus. We need your prayers. Pray that God’s power is displayed and many people are saved. Pray that we sleep well tonight and have great energy the rest of time here. Pray that God fills us with His Spirit and power. Above all else, PRAY!
