This morning I watched a few minutes of the kids in our Sunbeams ministry rehearsing for their Christmas program, which they’ll present to family and friends tomorrow morning. There are 165 kids participating. That’s a lot of children representing a lot of homes.

Sunbeams is a great ministry that touches a lot of families. Holly Matthews and her staff are doing great job.

While families pay tuition for their kids to be in the program, those fees do not cover all the costs of this important ministry. The church provides the facility and utilities, which is a major cost to most day schools. You may not have thought about it before, but each time you give your tithe to FBC part of it helps provide the very facilities and utilities that make this Sunbeams ministry possible. So remember the next time you give. Also remember it when you think about several hundred people sitting in our worship center tomorrow while their beautiful children sing about Jesus. Many of them will be people who seldom, if ever, attend church. Your giving is making a difference and I encourage you to consider making a special end of the year donation to FBC.
