Today was a lot of fun. I know that doesn’t sound very “spiritual” but I consider it fun when God works among us. Here are a few highlights from the day.

  • We observed the Lord’s Supper in both worship services.
  • Five people were baptized. Three of them were adults.
  • Eight more adults joined FBC during the 10:30 worship service.
  • A good crowd showed up to watch tonight’s showing of “The Hiding Place” movie. It was powerful and there were a lot of tears. There was also a lot of praying and soul searching.
  • A young couple came to me after one service and told me they were ready to join FBC.
  • I spoke with another couple who just moved to Rock Hill and today was their first time to worship with us.
  • I spoke with another couple who came today for the first time because some of their family recently became part of our Family of Faith.
  • We continued our study of what it means to follow Jesus, using stories from the lives of Corrie ten Boon and her family to illustrate what the Bible teaches about the subject.

On a personal note – I’m thankful there was a lot of sunshine and I was able to enjoy a nice lunch with my beautiful bride.

I hope you enjoyed today as much as I did.
