Praise the Lord! God moved among us this morning and people were saved.

After 14 people prayed to receive Christ last week, God poured even more blessings on us today. About 20 people decided to join FBC this morning, 12 of them by profession of faith and believer’s baptism. Bless His holy name!

We are working with these new believers and new members to help them be grounded in God’s word and grow in their faith. Pray for them. Even if you don’t know who they are, God does and He will answer your prayers.

One woman told me her story: she started attending FBC about six years ago and soon afterward prayed to receive Christ. But she had never taken the next step of being baptized and publicly declaring her faith. That all changed today and she will soon be baptized.

God is drawing people to Himself. Attendance was strong in both services and extra chairs had to be brought out at 10:30. I met several new people and I always enjoy that.

I had several people tell me they were moved by the prayer time preparing for the Lord’s Supper. When God’s people participate by praying their own prayers, it is always powerful and God is honored.

Please be praying for next Sunday’s services and who God wants you to invite. We’ll start a new series of messages titled “Let’s Talk” and I’m praying God uses these messages to help all of us have better relationships at home and elsewhere.
