Here are a few of the highlights from Sunday at FBC:

• Three young believers were baptized during the 10:30 AM worship service and I know their families are rejoicing that these children now have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Also – the water was a little too warm, leading to a few laughs. It’s funny in a good way how God used that unexpected circumstance in a positive way to unite our hearts even more with those children.

• Several more stories (testimonies) were submitted and many others told me they are still writing their story and plan to submit them in next few days. God is using this focus to help a lot of us reflect on our relationship with Him. If you haven’t submitted your story yet, please do so at our website by clicking this link. You can type it in or copy and paste it to the space provided at the bottom of the page.

• One family joined FBC during the 10:30 AM service.

• About 30 guests attended Dinner with the Pastor Sunday evening and many of them decided to join our Family of Faith. We’ll be introducing them to the congregation over the next two Sundays. Some significant spiritual conversations took place during and after the dinner. There was also a lot of laughter. This is always a fun evening and last night was a blast.

• More tickets were sold for Friday night’s IMPACT Missions Conference Banquet and we’re now expecting about 300 people.
