Read the following Bible verse several times:
Matthew 26:47-49
“While He was speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, came up accompanied by a large crowd with swords and clubs, who came from the chief priests and elders of the people. Now he was betraying Him gave them a sign, saying, ‘Whomever I kiss, He is the one; seize Him.’ Immediately Judas went to Jesus and said, “Hail, Rabbi!’ and kissed Him.”
Having read this verse several times, what is God saying to you?

Answer these questions:
- Imagine the scene when this crowd showed up arrest Jesus. Do you think all of them knew much about Him?
- Were some of them just doing what the crowd was doing because they were part of it?
- In what way does the “crowd” influence how you live? How does the “crowd” impact your Christian life?
- Think a minute and imagine how Jesus must have felt when Judas kissed Him?
- Do you ever do anything that makes Jesus feel similar to how he felt when Judas kissed Him?
After answering these questions, write or verbalize a personal prayer to God.
