Answer these questions:
- Judges 3:10 tells us Othniel was prepared to lead Israel because “the Spirit of the Lord came upon Him.” Why is it a problem if someone who is not filled with the Holy Spirit is leading God’s people?
- If you have a responsibility to serve or lead in any ministry at FBC, why is it important for you to be filled with the Holy Spirit? Are you filled with the Holy Spirit?
After answering these questions, write or verbalize a personal prayer to God.

Praying for our church:
We are seeking God’s wisdom for dealing with five specific challenges our church is facing.
Today please pray for God’s wisdom in dealing with the following challenge:
- How do we better balance the attendance between our 9:15 am and 10:30 am Sunday School hours and worship services?
Pray that God fills you and every other leader or servant at FBC with His Spirit. Ask God to give us a hunger for His presence and power.
