John 14-15 includes several verses where Jesus discussed the Holy Spirit with His disciples shortly before His arrest and crucifixion. This week’s devotions will focus on what He said and what we can learn from it.
Read John 15:26
“When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me”
Having read this verse, what is God saying to you?

Answer these questions:
- What does “testify” mean?
- Who did Jesus say the Holy Spirit would testify about?
- If the Holy Spirit testifies about Jesus, what does that indicate He will lead us to talk about?
- How much do you talk about Jesus? What does that say about you? What does it say about you being filled with the Holy Spirit?
After answering these questions, write or verbalize a personal prayer to God.

Praying for our church:
We are seeking God’s wisdom for dealing with five specific challenges our church is facing.
Today please pray for God’s wisdom in dealing with the following challenge:
- How do we direct more of our resources (people, time, money, events, ministries) to evangelistic efforts that target those in our community who are unchurched and could be assimilated into our family of faith?
Pray that the Holy Spirit enables you begin talking about Jesus to lost people more than you are doing right now?
