“The south’s favorite snack.”

When I saw those words on a billboard in the distance, my curiosity was definitely aroused. I thought, “What is it?”. As I got closer I learned the answer: “boiled peanuts”.

I like boiled peanuts. My wife doesn’t. I know a lot of people do and a lot of people don’t. In any case, the billboard did its job. I’m talking about boiled peanuts.

Sunday about 200 yard signs promoting our “Wayward Son” Easter service were taken by members to put up their yards. Why? To catch the attention if our neighbors and engage them in conversations. I hope you’ll pick up a yard sign this Sunday and help us capture our city’s curiosity.
