Reflect: How strong is your commitment to learning God’s Word and growing in your understanding of His ways? How strong is your commitment to ensuring that your children learn God’s Word? How committed are you to the spiritual development of the other children in our church? Is there room for a greater commitment to your own Christian development? …To that of the children in our church?

Pray: Pray that the people of First Baptist Church Rock Hill will nurture a deep passion for the children in our church and for their development into all that God wants them to be. Pray for our children and youth leaders and workers – that God would prepare and strengthen them in their work. Pray that we will overcome the ‘hindrances’ that limit our effectiveness in growing young people in their Christian development.

Act:

• Write down key thoughts or decisions that God has led you to in this week’s readings. Ask God for specific direction in these decisions
• Commit to praying daily for a specific children’s/youth leader or worker for the next 30 days – write (or record) this commitment in your calendar. Write this individual a note telling them of your prayer commitment.
