Reflect: God has given First Baptist great diversity of gifts and talents. Is there room for a greater commitment to utilizing these gifts and talents for the work that God has called us to as a congregation? What percentage of our church would you say is using their gifts and talents to the fullest extent possible? To what extent are you using your gifts and talents – is there room for growth?

Pray: Pray that the people of First Baptist Church Rock Hill will grow in stewardship of the gifts and talents that God has given us, both as a congregation and as individuals. Pray that we will genuinely become “Unhindered” in the use of our gifts and talents. Pray that every believer in our congregation will find the best use of their gifts and talents in serving God in this place.

Act:

• Write down key thoughts or decisions that God has led you to in this week’s readings. Ask God for specific direction in these decisions.
• Pray for our pastors, that they may be led, equipped, and ‘unhindered’ in ‘equipping His people for works of service’ in this place called First Baptist.
• If you’ve never done so, complete a spiritual gifts inventory to help you determine your best role in service. Determine to work where God has gifted you. Talk with one of our pastors about your gifts, talents, and passions for service.
