Highlights from the weekend:

• Having Steven and Sara with us for the weekend. It’s always good to see my boy. When they lived in Rock Hill, we saw them often and had lunch together most Sundays. Really miss that since they moved to Columbia.
• The four of us Skyping with Jacqueline, Evan and Liam in Italy Sunday afternoon. Liam showed us his new Halloween outfit and generally showed off. Skype is not as good as a hug, but sure better than just a phone call.
• Hearing that Sara’s dad in NY is now a believer and will be baptized in two weeks. Big answer to prayers.
• Watching two hundred of you pick up a bag of apples Sunday during the invitation to take as a gift to one of your neighbors, knowing you are intentionally choosing to care for and be a witness to people Jesus loves.
• Hearing the choir and Dani sing that special at 9:10 am. Great job!
• Talking with a young couple after the 10:30 am service who plan to join FBC next Sunday. Praise God!
• Eating fajitas at El Cancun. Good stuff!
• Watching college football Saturday with my boy.
