Luke 15:7
“I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.”

Having read this verse several times, what is God saying to you?

Answer these questions:

• Does this mean God doesn’t love the 99 righteous…those who are already saved?
• Why do churches struggle so much to love lost people the way God loves them?
• Why do churches normally put the 99 righteous…saved people and their wants…ahead of the need for lost people to be saved?
• Do you ever struggle with this?

After answering these questions write or verbalize a personal prayer to God.

• Ask God to teach you how to love lost people.
• Pray that you will be the kind of church member who helps First Baptist to put the needs of lost people ahead of your personal wants.
