Kids are everywhere this week.  They’re running, playing, laughing, having fun, learning about Jesus…and I love it.

It started Sunday morning when two children made public professions of faith in Jesus as their Savior.  It continued Sunday night with the start of Vacation Bible School.  More kids showed up this year than were here last year.  Praise God!  There are even kids in our house – Liam and Lilianna are visiting us (along with their mom and dad).

Liam attended VBS last night and loved it.  Early this morning he said, “Only 8 hours to Bible School!”  After VBS last night he and I visited Sweet Frogs – one of his favorite places.  I let him get more ice cream than I should have, but that’s what grandfather’s do.  Today I met him, Lilianna and Monieca for lunch at Chic-fil-A.  The place was running over with kids and while we were there Liam invited another boy he met playing on the indoor playground to VBS tonight.

Pray for all the kids who’ll be at VBS tonight.  Pray for their parents.  Pray for the 100 volunteers who will be serving tonight at VBS.  While you’re praying, THANK GOD FOR ALL THESE KIDS.
